After the attack on Bin Laden's alleged hideout by the notorious "bunker buster" bomb, we never saw another video of that particular terrorist. Either, they killed him at that time, (notwithstanding tape recordings) or else they severely maimed him, in a manner that would make him "unclean". A missing right hand would lose him thousands of hero worshippers.
