Are you using a Firefox add on extension to block ads, and if so exactly which one are you using? Could you give the name and version of it that appears in Fx> Tools > Addons> Extensions
If you are using uBlock, are you using 'uBlock' or 'uBlock Origin'?
What version of Firefox are you using now, and did you attempt to 'update' all add ons after Fx itself updated?
Are you using any other ad blocking software on your system?
What operating system are you using?

    Hi Thanks

I've just installed it, to test, in my Fx 44.0.2 on Win 10 - having first disabled AdBlock Plus which is what I generally use.
It seems to be working fine for me with ads I expect to see blocked.

Have you tried uninstalling/removing uBlock Origin, then restarting Firefox, and installing it as new to see if the problem continues?

    I'm running uBlockOrigin on palemoon (26.1.1) . It is v. 1.6.2.
    It blocks ads for me.
I also have FF ESR v38.6.1 with the same version of uBlockOrigin as my backup browser. I haven't noticed a problem with it on FF either. Granted, i don't use FF much because it is my backup browser.

I'm using uBlock Origin v 1.6.2 on Firefox v 44.0.2 and it blocks all the ads I expect to be blocked. I avoid Adblock Plus now as they let companies bribe them to be added to a special whitelist to let their advertisements through.

Gaming Insider - On Adblock Plus. Seems like double dipping kinda, sorta, maybe.

In 'Filter Preferences' for AdBlock Plus there is an option (enabled by default but easily UNCHECKED) that says 'Allow Some non-intrusive advertising'. It has a 'View List' link to see what ads are allowed, and a 'Read More' link for a very extensive explanation. What's not to like about that.
