Ubuntu Problems Please Help

I have three problems in Ubuntu

I cant copy files to /Home.

I need the latest driver for a eVGA FX 5500.

And my WG311 Wireless Card wont work.

Thank god i did Dual Boot Ubuntu and Windows XP so for now i am going to use Windows XP and i tryed a hole bunch of stuff to get my WG311 Wireless Card to work and it just wont work. So far i dont like Ubuntu. I did this on my old pc witch is a fx5500 and a gig of ram. If it cant fix it i will just reformat to get my space back

 

You don't have to like Ubuntu, Try PClinuxOS an all round better newbie distro. You have been wise, The best way to get into Linux is install on an old pc not your main one and tinker a bit. Once your into it you'll never look back.

If you do persist with ubuntu post in that forum it is by far the best in the business.

OK i got all my problems fixed after 4 HOURS OF SITING AT THE PC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am good i guess. Boots Wayyyyy Faster than windows
