UEFI boots PCs in seconds

    I know many will have known that over the years the BIOS has basically run its course and is one part of a PC thats the ball and chain that causes slow boots, but the next generation BIOS in UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) is coming and we may have this tech next year, so if you are a geeky PC builder I would wait before spending $$££ on a new PC until this tech is out on motherboards or via OEMs
