Ugly Trojan virus - Please help.

Hi this is my first post, i dont know where else to go.
My computer recently started to have trouble booting up, it would boot up and when it began veryifying dmi and pool data it would stop and say ' Boot Failed! '.
I got around this by pressing F8 and starting windows normally, in the advanced options. I later scanned my computer and found i had a Trojan (avp.32exe[it does mess with the boot process]). Now i can't even press F8 to get around the booting process and my computer wont even boot up.

What are my options?, is there anyway i can reformat the computer without going through the boot process or will i just need to buy new hardware?

nope i cannot acess safe mode
when i turn on the computer after booting for 5 seconds it says 'Boot Failed!'

We need some more info: operating system and service pack #, how you access the internet, a general rundown of your hardware, etc...

Meanwhile, you might try disconnecting from the internet, unplugging any non-essentials, and booting to your OS disk - let us know if that's successful...

 

Hi, i have windows 7 although its not a genunine copy its the 7100 or 7600 i cant rememver because i cant get onto my computer, i acces the internet via an ethernet capable connected to a router. My hardware is AthlonAMD 64 dual core and thats about it.
im not to confident with computers i hope it helps.
