   I'm getting IE pop-ups and i don't even have a browser window open, i also don't use IE, i use Mozilla Firefox. Do i have a bug or something in my computer? thanks for the help!confused

   Sounds very likely. Pop-ups shouldn't be coming out of nowhere. Start here and perform all the steps completely, before posting a thread in Malware. It looks long and complicated but it's fairly easy if you take it step by step.
