UKers prefer Broadband to Dialup

whats sad is that such 'advanced' countries such as the UK/US still use dialup at all. They should do a promotion of upping all dial up users to at least some basic dsl kit.

 

Some people can't get DSL, like my parents who live way out in the country. Though, they do spend the money for Satellite internet.

 

sizjam was in a prediciment that he couldn't get DSL or cable broadband where he lived. Now he's flyinig at 2MBit along with me

 

satelite net = dsl, well speed wise.

 

i cant get nothing but dial up maybe sat. internet if i had the money but thats the only thing

makes me wish i lived a few counties over because they made it nomatter where you live you could get wireless dsl (i dont remember if it was cheap or free?) and all the isp's in that county did not like it because they lost so much money for it hehe

 

That was a tiny little vacation island off africa's southeastern coast if i remember correctly.

 

it was here in middle GA i think bibb county or twiggs county i dont remember
