Coincidentally, I just re-installed Windows XP (using an older pre-SP2 XP Home install disk), on one of my home computers recently and I was not aware that the System Configuration Utility (msconfig) had been updated with the addition of an optionally downloadable Tools Tab.

Once installed, users can use the new "Tools tab" in the System Configuration utility to start diagnostic tools. The Tools tab also displays both the path and the switches for the tools. For those who don't have yet this Tools Tab installed; this link describes all about what it adds to the System Configuration Utility (msconfig).

Additionally, that FolderShare program/site which keeps important files at your fingertips - will save me time and money, not to mention the trouble of searching for all of the CD and DVD backups that I can never seem to find when I really need them....
