I was wondering if anyone had any opionions on the Ultra X PSU's. I am looking to reduce clutter in my case and thought this might be the way to go any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Well I have one, very nice and will help with that clutter. I have been using it for only 1 month so time will tell.
I read some good reveiws about it the kind of reveiw that actually did testing with it.
Then I read some things not really reveiws but opinions from people and they were not to good but they never said if they tested or owned one.

The 500w has plenty of amps on all rails for most any machine, that is what I look for in a psu not just watts.
So far I would highly recomend it based on price, looks and modular cabe desighn, but as far longevity like I said will see.

Oh yea one other thing, if you have sata drives you have to use a adapter or purchase the sata power cable seperate, that was one of the big beefs in the reveiws.

Just installed mine tonight....they are one sweet ps. lots of power and if looks mean anything these things got it. Mine came with the sata cables, must be a newer batch, as far at the case clutter, mine is still there. need to do some rerouting tomorrow.they give you plenty of cables as well
