On my home computer, I am unable to access my webpage. I get an error saying the server is taking too long to respond. I can access my page on other computers that aren't in my house though.

I need steps to clear all of my cache, cookies, everything. I'm pretty sure I've deleted it all, but I still cannot get to my page.

    I use Firefox.

I have already run CCleaner. Many times.

Shouldn't the cache updating be instant?

start / run / type "cmd" without qoutes ...at the command prompt type

    ipconfig /flushdns

    Try that.

Can you access the website at home via an IP, instead of a FDN (Full domain name)?

Is this server hosted at home?

I don't host the server, it's a free host with an addon domain. I cannot connect to any part of my site in my house.

I can connect on my school computers, however.

    Can you ping the page?

I.E., Click START, then RUN, then type in cmd, press enter.

    Ping yourwebsite.com

    I.E.

    ping majorgeeks.com

    gives you:

Pinging majorgeeks.com [67.19.72.101] with 32 bytes of data:
    etc...

Can you browse to the ip shown. As in this example, instead of type in:

    majorgeeks.com

    type in the ip:

    67.19.72.101

    Are you behind a router?

    Do you have a firewall?

Disable the firewall, and try again.

If behind a router, try connecting directly to your internet gateway, I.E. dsl modem/cable modem.

It worked when I disconnected my router.

I know it could be a pain, but try resetting the router, to default configuration. Then connect ONE pc to it. Can it connect to that site? If so, go ahead and connect the rest. If you can't connect, then another computer on the network is causing the issue.

Or, you can manually configure the router to get that site to work.

Does the site, require a different port to connect?

What is the url to that site?

Have you updated the firmware on the router?

    What model is your router?

I didn't reset anything, but I disconnect all computers except this one from the router and I could not connect to my site.

    I will try tomorrow night

Okay, your router is definately blocking your access. Obvious. That is why I was suggesting you to reset to factory settings and trying again. On one computer and only one computer.

    :)

I reset my settings to default, but it didn't help. Even with only one computer hooked up..

I am able to access my site through a proxy.

** So no one is able to help?

    I'm using a LINKSYSY BEFSR41 router.
