Unable to browse network on win server 2003

Recently i have been trying to configure a VPN server on my server to accept incoming connections from friends to play lan games. After not much luck we found a program called hamachi that works fine for what we need. The problem is that i am unable to browse my network from my server witch is running the hamachi server. although I can connect to my local machines if i put in the ip directly and not use the name. the csame thing happens on my local clients if one is connected to the hamachi server and the other is not. i uninstalled the hamachi from my server and i still get the same problem, IP's work but names dont. any help would be greatly appreciated on the matter. if anybody knows how how get a standard VPN working for games i would really appreciate that too. thx in advance
