I have run the read me post as best as i can with the tools i currently have on my pc. I have run them all offline.
I am unable to connect to internet on PC after an infection of some kind.
    Avira stalls at 87%.
    Malwarebites reports no infection.
Rouge killer reports PUP.gen1 6 instances and a number of greyed items.
    Hitman pro is not available.
    MG logs report is available.
I am currenty using a pad device to write this post. I am concerned that if i connect this device to my pc to copy logs and reports for up.oad here it too will become infected. How should i proceed? Win 10 64 bit

I had them installed already obviously rk and mglogs need updating. Malware bytes (free version) appears to be current.

Have you tried doing a system restore? Can you transfer via USB?

I have removed the PUP files (but not the pum files) using RK. It appears the infection has toggled system restore and removed restore points. I believe i had sytem restore operating correctly (there is always the possibility i did not) however there does not appear to be any restore points. I have cycled the modem however it does not connect to either wifi or internet if pc is turned on. With pc disconnected from modem, the modem works fine all green lights and allows me wifi. I am in Australia and it is 2 am so i may not reply for some time. Happy to rescan if i have not completed scans correctly. Tablet appears ok to connect to pc direct at this point so i can transfer files. IP provider says nothing wrong from their end.

I am not finding malware in those logs. It looks like all your internet settings are good.

Please download these two and attach them when you are able:
Please download the latest version of FRST the below link.
Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: Make sure you download the proper version ( 32 bit or 64 bit ) for your PC. Only one will run, the correct one. So it you make a mistake and download the wrong one, go back and get the other.
    • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    • Press Scan button.
    • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your next reply.
    • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

    Also:
Please download Zemana Malware Removal to your desktop and run it please.

It auto updates, and you click scan. After it's finished, click on the icon that looks like Cell phone strength bars. High-light the report (by date log was produced) and click on the "Open Report" icon. (looks like a folder). That notepad.txt can then be copied/pasted into another .txt doc and saved. Upload that, please.

In order to be clear i am not able to connect to internet using the infected pc. I have downloaded farbar and zemana to tablet and copied these to pc. Farbar logs are attached. Zemana does not run at all. I was not able to update either program. My tablet will not open either download.

Please disable Windows Defender. Reboot and tell he how things are.

Windows defender does not appear to be on. Avira real time protection is active. I have turned off avira and attempted to access the internet. I recive the message "check your network connection" and "check that Firefox has permission to access the web". I have tried MS edge and recive similar message.

When accessing windows defender i recive a pop up "your administrator has limited access to so e areas of this app. The item you tried to access is not available." I cli ed ok and proceeded to virus and threat protection. Real time protection is off. Cloud delivered protection is on. Controlled folder access requires turning on real time protection. I am not able to turn real time protection to on (Greyed out).

Ok....well, there is no malware in your logs. I think it is time for you to post in the software forum for further assistance. :)

Thank you for your time patience and assistance. Of note is that i found i had plugged the ethernet cable into the wrong port on the modem. (DOH!) I am now able to connect to the internet. I propose to run tne read and run me thread downloading and updating apps as required. As this may take some time should i start another thread or post further logs in this thread?

I am not sure that is necessary as the logs you posted had no malware.
