Hopefully someone can help me out here. Just had wireless router installed, been working fine for over a week. The router has been switched off today and when i got home i had an X through my wireless icon saying unable to connect to network. However my wlan is visible in my list of availables (with a full 5 bars strength). I removed it from my list, tried to connect again automatically and get a message that the network is no longer available please try again.
(But it is in the list). Tried disabling, re-enabling but still the same. Tried to add the wlan manually and although this time I get nothing about it being disabled it adds it to list but doesn't connect.
Do an ipconfig and it tells me

    Media state......................media disconnected.

However it is available, this device is working properly etc. Rebooted the Wlan router - that seems fine, all flashing away ok. Have dug a cable out and connected via lan and im up and running no problem.

    Anyone any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Power cycle the wireless router?

    Try Network Magic?
