Unable to install Nero Expressvision 2

Hi everyone,

Can someone help me? I am trying to install Nero Expressvision 2, where I am recieving a error 6: The handle is invalid. My operating system is Win XP Home.

I have disabled my antivirus software, and uninstalled any other version of burning software, without success.

Is it possible you have previously have other Nero programs installed with the "Nero Expressvision 2," on your computer?

If so go to the Nero Web Site and navigate to "Sitemap" [top RH corner] and find = Utilities = Clean Tools = Read their instructions and apply/use!

Even if you do not have any other Nero programs installed I feel I would still use the "Clean tools" to remove any associated problems.

Now be very careful when using the "Tools" that you do not interfere with any other Nero Programming you have installed.
Make sure follow their instructions to the letter.
In case you have problems make sure you have backups of these programs ?

One last thought would be for you contact "Nero Support" by Email with your problems. From experience I found their Support Staff do reply to you within 24 hours!

I have already tried the cleanup tool, without success, and yes I have sent a email to the nero support personnel.

One other thought that you maybe trying to install a downloaded program which maybe not all OK?
When you Download the "NeroVision" program did you use their "Check Sum" to "Verify" the downloaded program is all OK.

You could also use the "Free JV16" to edit the computer register to enable you to delete all the other left over Nero references. The program is simple to use and if you are carefull you will not have any problems.
If you feel confident and would like to use same or just to have a look please post a reply and will give you basic instruction on it's use and also the Web site where the Free JV16 is available?
