unable to install security update for flash player (KB923789)

    I am running MS XP withSP2. My windows automatic update keeps trying to install a security update for flash player (KB923789), but it is uable to install it. I am running Spybot S&D but have microsift security on the ignore list. I also have sygate firewall and have turned it off, but the update still won't install. Anybody have ant ideas as to why the update won't install?

    Go to the Adobe site, download the new one and go back to updates. There may be a better way but that's what I did.
