unable to install software in windows xp professional sp2

    Everytime I try to install software. I receive this error message:
    Setup Launcher has encountered a problem. Any ideas thanks in advance.

    It worked well for a while then acrobat 6 didn't work. I tried to reinstall it. Then then I started receiving this problem.
