Unable to log in as Administrator

I have 2 windows accounts -- Administrator and Family. Both are administrators. I want to remove Family and just run as Admin. Before I delete the Family account, I wanted to verify that I could log in as admin -- so I went into control userpasswords2 and set the admin password and unchecked the box to require a password at login -- and restarted. I got a pop up when the Administrator tried to auto login saying " Unable to log you in because of an account restriction" -- click ok, and it proceeded to log in as Family. I rebooted into Safe Mode and logged in manually as Administrator, so it is not a password issue.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem so I can proceed to log in as Admin and remove the additional account?

    Thanks in Advance!

PS ... I have seen this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290109

BUT ... the reason I want to do this in the 1st place is because I have McAfee and want to administer parental controls with the McAfee Administrator account, not the Windows accounts. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS IN THE PAST. I'm not sure what happened to break it, I think at one point I did a reinstall of XP and just now getting back to setting up McAfee again.

Any help to get around this would be great!
