Unable to open folders on desktop in Windows 7

    I've recently started having issues with Windows 7 in that I'm unable to open folders on my desktop. In addition I'm unable to to access computer, to view my driver directories.

    I've tried running an AVG scan and IObit Malware Fighter, but this hasn't solved the issue. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    We need more information than that.

    Are there errors? What precisely happens and when did it start? Does it work in Safe Mode?
