Unable to reduce the system restore disk space usage

    HI guys
    I am trying to reduce the disk space used by system restore.I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 and as you can see from the image attached (Restore.jpeg)that i have set the disk space usage to 799 MB.
    When i did a scan using tree size free it showed that system volume information folder is 1435 MB(Treesize.jpeg).
    Is it that system volume information folder is not just used for system restore but something else is also saved in that folder.
    I guess i am not able to see whats causing this, hope i can get some help.
