Unchecky and Maxthon CLoud Browser

Hello,

Someone recommended both these programs to me. I am hesitant to load them because I have never heard of them before.

Has anyone used them or installed them? Are they risky?

We also host Maxthon: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/maxthon_cloud_browser.html

I would say that no, they are not risky. The owners test any software that is hosted here. You'll be safe to install them and check them out.

I've used Unchecky for a couple of years with no problems. It does its job well.

Risky? Its risky only if you become complacent. "Unchecky is not an universal solution"

It catches most unwanted install options most of the time. I still read/examine each install panel/display for options, I don't want, just in case Unchecky missed something.

I am not familiar with Maxthon CLoud Browser. Gl

Maxthon cloud browser is a really good browser I have heard so much about it about it's speed but I have been using firefox as I do need some of the add-ons and extensions.
