Certain pages display double underlined words with advertising 'flash boxes' that show whenever you hover over them. I've checked and someone else has told me on those certain pages it doesn't happen to them, any idea what it could be? Maybe some software I have installed?

For example picking any random link from this site, http://www.majorgeeks.com/download608.html, brings several words highlighted and with such ads... I've heard it been featured in some sites but I never heard it of only showing up for some users and not all. So that makes me wonder.

I think someone mentioned earlier thats its javascript.

Some browsers don't display it, like Firefox, some firewalls have features that disable it.

Yes its an advertising tool called IntelliTXT it can be disabled, but as MGs in part relies on advertising revenues to keep the superb service and forums going.... I won't post the fix out of courtesy to our owners.

but I have given you somewhere to start looking/searching for yourself.

Thanks, yes I probably wouldn't have asked if I thought it was site related at first. Just crossed my mind it might have been something on my side...
