I want to do a download, and got an "undf" message. I chased that down and understand what it is.
That search netted several programs to download and that would run the undf.
I have gotten a little leery about downloading programs I don't know anything about. Some proved quite difficult to uninstall.
Anyone with suggestions of programs for this?
    Thanks,

    GSpot270a.zip
    FLV Player
    PlayItNow

That is a part of what seems to be a list that goes ad infinitum.
I have not downloaded anything pertaining to undf. The problems with uninstall I mentioned were for other programs, and are purged, albeit some with a degree of frustration.
I am wondering if anyone knows a reputable and safe program(s) to handle undf?
Although I have a firewall, avast and MWB installed I hesitate to just download a program I know nothing about.
    Thanks,
    Skysarge

Yes, sounds leary enough. If you were up to 50 posts on MG you could have PM'd me the link. Would have given it a run on a Win7RC LT that I use as a 2Hr timer :-D

"undf" simply meand undefined. In other words, the programs you currently have installed can not run what you are trying to see/hear because of missing codecs perhaps.

I use Sothink FLV player and I downloaded it because of a Gizmo Richards recommendation. http://www.techsupportalert.com/
    Code:
    http://www.sothinkmedia.com/flv-player/
Since he tests everything, I know either he or one of his helpers downloaded it and the links would be clean.

Get Gspot from MajorGeeks. It will be clean.

Have you tried VLC? That has all the codecs included so there is no need for Gspot.
VLC also comes in a portable version, just in case you don't want to install it on your computer.
I've used the portable version on two computers and it has worked well for my purposes.
