   The computer is an e-Machines W3609 with a brand new Foxconn 45CMX mobo. Screen stays black on boot-up and it fails POST with 2 beeps, pause, 3 beeps and repeat over and over. I can't find this code anywhere... what BIOS does this mobo have and if you know what the code means I'd appreciate it.

   I'd say there is a much greater probability that it has an Award BIOS.
   
   Award only uses two different beep codes and neither matches yours
   http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm
   
   Switch out the RAM first and if you still get beeps then it's video.
