Uninstal Adv sys care/ Iobit SmartDefrag

I downloaded ASC yesterday, used it, did not like it, uninstalled it.

then today to my surprise when starting up my system ...Smartdefrag appears to still be active. My Disk was being defrag. by it, before starting up windows, I slightly paniced.

I can't find an entry for smartdefrag anywhere on my system. all there is still is the original iobit folder in program files, there is abselotly no program in there anymore, just some images and other stuff (no programs) ánd the log.txt file was there of todays startup defrag.

How do I get rid of it!!!!!

there is no mention of smartdefrag. or anyting remotely alike in my windows startup?

I'm scared to use system restore, Im scared to manually delete the obit folder., because i have no idea of how this will affect my system next time I re start my computer.

I fínally had a healthy pc, and therefor I wanted to try Adv. system. care...and now i have this going on.


How do I safely remove all and anything that has anything to do with iobit?:confused

Try this and use the trial Pro Edition and use the Forced uninstall.

Then use this to remove any left over files,

Also go back to the Register-editor and delete the Iobit key by right clicking on Iobit and selecting Delete.
