Format your C: Drive and then if you wish to use your PC again install a different OS.

Use a Boot disk to achieve this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/255867/ < some info on formatting using Fdisk

that doesnt make the least amount of sense to me lol
not used to computer terms just no a few things about them

OK next questions are why uninstall XP?

What are you going to replace it with, as dependent on what your replacing it with may determine the options to remove XP and replace with NEW?

If your aim is to wipe XP before passing the drive on or throwing it out download Active Killdisk from

http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads12.html

This will do the job for you.
