Uninstall

I recently downloaded Spyware Doctor and now I want to erase it but it won't let me. I went to control panel and to add or delete programs but when I requested SD to be deleted it said it was busy and could not be deleted. Can someone please lend a helping hand to a new member?

You'll need to exit out of the program first. If the icon for it is in your system tray right click on it and choose exit, close or shut down...whichever option it gives you for this particular program.

OR

Bring it up via Start > Programs > Spyware Doctor >

- Disable the onguard tools...when you exit Spyware Doctor, these tools won't stay running in the background.
-Click the Settings button on the left side.
-Click the Startup Settings link.
-Uncheck Run at Windows Startup.
-Click the Apply button.

You should then be able to remove it via add/remove programs...if not, reboot as one of the services is still running and the reboot will clear it so you can uninstall.

 

The solution you gave worked great. Now I have uninstalled Spyware Dr.
