How/what do I do (safely) fix this error?:confused

I used Revo Uninstaller, CCleaner and RoxiZap.

Roxio is known to cause all sorts of issues with CD burning upon installation or removal. The first thing I'd try, is to go to the Device Manager and right click your CD drive, select Uninstall, and reboot your PC. If that doesn't work, take a look at this article at the Microsoft web site. The error isn't exactly the same, but it relates to Roxio, and provides a step-by-step for creating new CD driver files...

OK, thank you. Let me get this straight. I have a DVD-ROM, a CD-RW & an external DVD/CD burner. Do uninstall the CD-RW and the DVD/CD burner only?

Uninstalled the CD-RW and the DVD/CD burner, no go. On reboot same message in Event Viewer. I'll give a try the Microsoft suggestion.

dlb, Thank for your time and help. It is appreciated.
