Uninstaller deleted files randomly!!!

Has anyone that has uninstaller ever had this happen? I have had it for a couple of years and it always worked great. Yesterday I attempted to uninstall Avant Browser and as I was watching, it continued to uninstall numerous programs and then started deleting games also. Luckily I have a disk image back up. Maybe I will just stick to the add remove installer from now on. Very weird.

Thats fine, thats all uninstaller did also. You have to uninstall programs. Unless you know of a different uninstaller, I think all the ones I am aware of use the programs uninstaller. And you can uninstall ie and reinstall pretty much at will. I used to run with it uninstalled and strictly used Moziilla or Opera. Now I kinda prefer ie off shoots like slim browser so I have it installed. Maybe the Avant Browser didn't want to be ejected alone and took my other programs with it.
