I bought a logitech C525 webcam and took it back about a week ago because it kept crashing my computer. I didn't think about uninstalling the software first.

I saw it in add/remove programs so I ran the deinstallation program, but it still shows up in the add/remove programs and it's still in the Program Files.

I'm wondering how best to get it out of the computer. System restore isn't working after my one success with it a few weeks ago, so I can't use that. I was hoping logitech might have one of those removal tools like the antivirus companies have, but I couldn't find any.

    I have a win7 pro 64 bit system.

I have found Iobit Uninstaller very effective, more so than Revo. Handles 64 bit programs too, unlike Revo (free version)

HI also as well as the great suggestion of IOBIT uninstaller also try booting to safe mode and running the Control Panel > Uninstall or IOBIT in safe mode, may just be an issue with a running file that can stop software from uninstalling properly.

Also run CCLeaner and its Cleaner and Registry tool to scan for unused registry keys.
