Uninstalling Norton !

    Son's trying to uninstall norton that came on his win 7 puter how does he find out what version he has to uninstall it, i'm trying to instruct him over the phone giz a hand someone, he's getting stuck when he gets to the symantec site because it's asking which version !

    Rusty this removes all but the corporate version. This has to be a trial version. Run the tool and reboot . Run again.
    If it's the corporate version, which I doubt, NRT will error out. Uninstall from Control panels change/ remove. It will ask for a password, It's symantec by default.

    And Rusty, it is normally recommended to run it twice. I run this program as part of my routine in cleaning up computers, no harm done if nothing is there, so far. :wave:wave
