Unique case of Google redirect, tdsskiller won't run

Hi all,

I am pretty sure that I've been afflicted with the dreaded Google redirect malware. But through reading tons of forum posts and online help websites, I feel like I have a unique case of this virus, or whatever it is. I have the redirection of search engine problem to random pages, and I keep getting error messages that internet explorer has had a problem and must close. I close the window and it comes up randomly every few minutes. This is very annoying and I don't use IE, so I don't know why it keeps crashing. If I run the program Rkill.exe it will stop. I have run SuperAntiSpyware and it has not found anything, Malwarebytes has not found anything, I have run McAfee Stinger and it found a few trojan files and deleted them. I have not been able to run TDSSKiller- I have tried using it from a flash drive from a clean computer, tried renaming the file to a ".com" but it will not run. I have run many different scans and none of them turn anything up. I have searched around and not found any TDSS files. The internet explorer thing annoys me, as well as the redirecting of Google searches. It seems that the rest of my computer is fine, and I do not experience many problems, as the McAfee Stinger program found a few files and deleted them. I do not want to re-format because I have tons of stuff on here, as my computer is pretty old, and don't have a hard drive to back it up. I just cannot run TDSSKiller no matter what I do, and I am wondering if that is the fix.

Any help would be appreciated, as the redirection is getting really annoying.

EDIT: I run Windows Vista 32-Bit on a 4-year old Sony Vaio.
