does anyone know of a good site to find a universal cmos password for a phoenix bios? the bios is in a h pc.

i looked at the mobo and it looked like the batt was permanently attached. is there any other way? (the pc is an old pentium 2)

Some of the old ones were removed with the whole unit ...but would try finding the manual for the mobo ....should show a jumper setting to clear cmos.

i got this pc from my uncle. i don't have an owners manual i looked everywhere for a place to put a jumper and there was only one. i tried that and it didn't work.

There should be some info on the board .....to identiry it ...see if you can find that so we can search for a manual.

i looked at the mobo and blew the dust off it and there was a diagramof how to set the switches to clear the cmos. i guess i should of looked with a light before
