Running W98Se on Clone Intel P4 1.7Ghz. 512 Mg RDRAM, Dial up connection
Going to convert to XPse but need to back up my C drive (just in case?)
I downloaded and installed SyncBack, since my HP Simple Backup wont work any more.
SyncBack requires CD RW's to be formated with Universal Disk Format, which the Microsoft web site shows as only available on W2000,and XP.
Where can I get a download on UDF?

    Welcome to MG.

As well as backing up to CD's, I'd suggest installing a second hard drive and doing a mirror image of your C drive to the second drive. Borrow a drive if needs be.

Set up the second drive as a slave drive. There are many programs, Free and $$$$, that will copy an entire drive. You can't have too many backups when backing up an entire drive. Bazza

    You can't.

UDF is a file type for CD's. You can't just download it anymore you can FAT32 or NTFS.

Most burning or backup software can do this for you like Nero, Easy CD Creator or whatever you have.

I would advise you to format and do a clean install as opposed to an upgrade.
