I am in need of help I have a situation where I have blocks of little pixels all over my desktop.
I only started getting this lately and only when I go into the game I play ( world of Warcraft )
while I'm in the game these pixels appear and if I am by water in the game then the water turns black
it starts in lines and fills the water black. Then when I log to my desktop I have all the strange pixels.
I took a screen shot of what happens to my desktop.
I have a brand new mother board as well as a brand new video card and I have updated it on the Nvidia site.
Can someone please help me I have no idea what to do.

Thank you for your time and kindness

Hi thank you so much for your reply, yes before I go in game my desktop and comp seems perfect I dont even have a problem watching movies its only as soon as i go in game. I did do a check on my CPU temp and noticed that when not in game it is between 115F-117F and then when I go in game it goes to 148-154F.

According to the temperatures reported, you're well within normal parameters. I'd suspect the game itself as the culprit because you only have the graphics issues while playing it and immediately afterward. I suspect remnants are left in the graphics RAM and aren't clearing out when you exit the game. I'd try a complete uninstall and re-install with a fresh download of WoW.

Thank you Plodr & Mdonah I will try as you suggest and do a uninstall and reinstall and see what happens.
" Again thank you for your kindness and help in this matter, I will make a report of the results.

Well first let me say Happy New year everyone. So as I mentioned i am having issues with Pixels showing up on my screen, at first it was only noticeable while in game but now It is appearing randomly even when I am just watching a movie. So far this is what I have done

Changed mother boards & video cards and it happens on both.
    Uninstalled my Game and reinstalled.
    Updated my Nvidia drivers.
    Tried a new Video Cord.
    Tried a New Monitor.
Im at a loss with why I am getting these green pixel blocks, Does anyone have any suggestions or help please.

    Ghosts!
But seriously, you have changed the motherboard, video card, monitor and cords. There isn't much else you can swap out that would have an effect on what you see.
And now that it is appearing in other things, we know it isn't WOW having the issue.

I'll look around and see if anything else might cause pixels.

    1. Test the RAM
    2. What cable are you using (type of connection)? Someone used a shorter cable and that fixed the issue.
    3. Are you running the display at its native resolution?
    4. Now this is way out but some people have had faulty mice present weird problems. So if you have a spare mouse, swap out the current mouse and see if it does anything.

    Hi

Weird one as you have changed many parts basically like a new build PC. Only things that spring to mind to try at present are:

    1. Change the refresh rate of your monitor to 50hz if not already at that (right click desktop > Screen Resolution > Advanced Settings > Monitor tab
    2. Check for magnetic objects around your PC or monitor and move them to test, even move any speakers or hifi equipment to test.

50hz ? or did you mean 60. There is no 50 setting choice and I already have it at 60. I just cant figure out any more what it can be, if it is a Ghost in the machine im even more Scr***ed because if I try kick his azz out my foot will go right threw!

SO annoying because Im watching theses pixels flicker while Im typing this.

Oh and also no magnetic things around comp.
