Unknown Starcraft Battle.net lag!?!

I have been experiencing some weird lag in battle.net after I lost my hard drive. My net works as before everywhere except Starcraft. In offline modes SC runs normally, as well as in channels. But when I join a game or someone joins my game the nightmare begins. It lags like theres no tomorrow, fps is like 1 or 0.5.

The new HD much bigger than the first one. Everything else seems to work fine as well, I've been playing CS 1.6 and Half-Life online without any trouble. As well as download speed is the same as before. But for some unknown reason SC doesn't work in B.net at all, because the it's impossible to play with that lag.

I have asked for support in blizzard open tech support, but they either didn't want to help or didn't know how. They just keep copy/paste the same responses. I have asked my friends and people who knows much about PCs and everything. But nothing helped. The last thing, one friend of mine said to post here because you guys know everything about computers, well, I sure hope so.

Here is the list of things I have tried and what I have/don't have.

- Re-install Starcraft
- Latest SC patch
- Latest video card drivers
- Latest hardware drivers for everything
- Turned off firewall
- Deleted bncache file
- Scanned/cleaned for spyware and viruses(with your tutorial)
- Cleaned my SC folders
- I don't have a router.
- I don't have a dial-up
- Running no other programs except SC
- Cleaned windows services
- Cleaned windows startup
- Asked for support at Bizzard open-support forums

 

Plase help, somebody.

 

Do you have simular problems playing other games online?
And the only things i can think of is starcraft is an old game it's back from when 56k dialup was the broud band of the day or do you have isdn connection or broud band cable?
It could be their server is just heavly used.

 

Other online games like Counter-Strike work just fine. Also SC didn't lag before I lost my old HD.

I have a DSL connection, and it's ok everywhere except SC.

 

i have the exact same problem (lag in b.net) dunno what its due to. i had it run on my lap top at a friends house. worked perfect. then i went home, and the lag started, tried instaling it on my desktop; no diffrence. would gladly appreciate help as well. solo play is getting boring
