I just found the following items in my start up menu:

    is-1BF78
    is-VH45F
    is-Q5454
    is-1PRBF
    is-F0LUU

I have Googled them and search for them in the "Start Up Programs Data Base" program and have come up with nothing. I just loaded Avira Antivirus program and don't know if they have anything to do with this.

Never mind as I found out what this is. It belongs to Kaspersky Lab Tool which took me forever to uninstall only to find this crap in my start up menu. I personally would not suggest using this antivirus tool due to the difficulty in getting rid of it.

I couldn't agree more. I have tried this Krap-ersky tool 3 times, and each time it was almost impossible to completely remove. I had to boot to a 'live' CD (like Barts or the UBCD4Win) to really remove everything. In my opinion, it is almost as bad as some of the viruses it is supposed to remove. And in each of the 3 times I used it, it never actually removed any malware. I ran scans after it, and those scans found all kinds of stuff the Krap-ersky missed. How they got to be such a well respected company in the antivirus world is completely beyond my comprehension. And how their 'tool' continues to be listed on many web sites and continually downloaded when most people I've talked to about it have had nightmarish experiences removing it is also beyond comprehension. I think that they expect everyone who installs it, to leave it installed forever because Krap-ersky is supposedly so great that no-one would ever dare to think about uninstalling any of their illustrious and amazing software. Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

 Sorry for the rant. I know it has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, but I just can't figure out why this 'tool' is still widely available. I'll shut up now.

probably for the same reason Norton is still around; they used to be good but now they are not and removing them is a nightmare. They are resting on their former excellent reputation.
