UNKNOWN TROJAN.. help me get rid of this please!

    I guess someone downloaded something on my NEW laptop because all of a sudden a pop-up comes up talking about an unknown trojan :cry and everytime i search on google, a youtube porn site thing shows up.. I have read so much threads about it already but I dont know which ones really work.. I downloaded SUPERAntiSpyware, and did a scan.The threat description says: Adware.TrackingCookie and there are 5 detected items. Now theyre on quarantine.. NowWHAT?! :confused..Some please help me...! I have read other threads on this site as well, but Im still so confused!!.. maybe I need some one on one time.. lol..

    Question!

    When doing the vista cleaning procedure...Do i have to be disconnected from the internet? And Ive been running the superantispyware for like, 20 HOURS NOW..and my laptop is fairly new.. just got it like a week or 2 ago.. and i havent downloaded much stuff? is this normal? :confused

    No its should not really take that long, turn off Direct Disk Access ( DDA ) from SuperAntiSpywares menu ( Preferences > Scanning Control ) then try scanning again, if it does take too long again skip that scan and move to next one.

    ok..DDA was turned off this whole time, but im going to try again.. for "scan location" are both C\: AND D\: both supoosed to be checked? (sorry i have so much questions)



    can i keep my internet connected?

    HI Glad that this is gone, but malware can hide in many places so if you have the MGLOGS.zip file still do attach it and our malware experts will just give it a once over to rule out any left overs.
