unlinked icon removal?

Can someone please help me with getting rid of a bad shrtcut icon on my desktop? I was installing a game and lost power causing the install to stop of course. when I rebooted I had to restart the install which was succesful. However, I now have an icon left on my desktop from the failed attempt which I cannot seem to get rid of. I have tried everything I can think of including "unlocker assistant", and "tweak ui", both of which say it was successful but it wasn't, even after I did a refresh. I have tried to uninstall the game properly, which it did, but the icon was still there. I have also looked thru the registry and was unable to find it there either. Notice the name of the game contains a bad letter (which should read "ghost recon") here is a compiled screenshot of the info I get when attempting to remove it.
So how can I get this icon off of the desktop....please help... and thank you in advance for any and all help.
