unlock windows password

    Hello

    I just purchased Hp Touch Smart laptop From this guy at work. Its Password protected, And the indavidual does not remember password, It has windows 8 and does have a CD player, Is there a way of bypassing the password or maybe installing it from online website. Any suggestions..

    It might have a recovery partition, could try F11 at boot time. If that doesn't work find a way to set the recovery partition as active, if there is one. I haven't tried a linux disc on a Windows 8 installation yet...
