    Just got my new Video Card!
    LeadTek WinFast A400 LE TDH 6800LE 128mb 256 bit, from Newegg $147
    Look great, Lot's of copper HS both sides of the card, must be about 5 or 6 LBs, not to loud either, I like it.

    Just loaded Riva Tuner, WOW! I'm able to unlock all 16 pipelines & all 6 shaders.
    Looks like I may be able to make this run like a 6800GT, Ha Ha Ha!

    Anyone around here? been there done that?
    I'm looking for some tips, thinking OCing a bit, never use Riva Tuner before.

    I've been reading lot of info on these 6800 LE's some cannot be unlocked, some only 12 pipelines, some run great with 16 pipelines.

    Any Bios tweaks or upgrades affect OC with these?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the links.

    Looks like I cant run with all 16 pipes getting artifacts, when I use 12 seems fine.
    Need to do bit more testing/research, Lot's of new stuff for me.

    I've set up this rig as dual boot, one running stock configuration first run of 3Dmark05 was something like 2805, 3DMark03 was 6664 using 66.81 drivers from cd

    The other Boot, 12 pipes unlocked at the moment, running 3DMark03 with 77.72 WHQL drivers has scores varing lowest 8089 highest 9105

    "Id just set riva tuner to set the speeds at start up the problem..."
    i really wouldnt recommend the speeds to be set on startup because if u get any problems.. which may only arrise after 2 or more weeks u wont be able to get into windows since the settings will be changed at startup. its a lot safer to just change the settings when ever u play games. it will also reduce the heat that is generated (while ur in 2D mode) and might therefore permit ur card to live longer. also, i dont think that u always will need it to be overclocked unless u play the newest games at high detail and resolution.
    good luck and greetings from Hurgader/Egypt :)

    Riva tuner startup is EZ to kill in safe mode .. and a video card changing speeds is harder on it then running at a hi OC 24/7 .....Your best bet is to find the fastest OCed speeds and the max pipes you can enable and find or have someone make you a bios that is just right for your card ...then you settings and OC will be in hardware not software so your card wont be changing speeds on every boot...

    Had time today for some more testing & little tweeken.

    Turns out all 16 pipeline are good and 5vp, Awsome!
    3DMarks03 = 9010
    3DMarks05 = 3710
    Max GPU temps during benchmark 48c, the cpu maxed at 44c (room temp is about 72f)
    Not bad so far.
    Gota Love that RivaTuner!

    Next Step, back to getting the max OC from my Mobile 2600, then I'll try a bit of OCing on my 6800LE.
    Then I'll see what kind of Benchmarks I can get.
