Hello all. I have an Asus Netbook running Windows XP with no CD drive. I am getting an Unmountable_Boot_Volume, STOP: 0x000000ED (0X8652FC08, 0XC0000006, 0X0000000, 0X0000000) error message at start up.

Is there a way to get to recovery mode without an installation disk and CD drive?

    Thanks!

Nope, especially if the hard drive was formatted, and a non-OEM version of XP was installed.

    Thanks!
