    I am getting a blue screen with this error on it. It wont allow me into Windows (XP version) to remove any offending software. An anti virus program loaded automatically yesterday (cant remember the name) and the problem has been since then.

    On the error screen there is this technical information :

    *** STOP: 0x00000ED {0x80E34E30, 0xC0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000}

    Any help would be appreciated.

    If you can boot to recovery console off of the XP CD, you can run chkdsk /r to repair it, assuming there are no physical hard disk errors.

    I cant get it back in any mode. Everything I try brings me back to the same blue screen. Do you know what the error is ?

    Sound like ram Error, test it by memtest86. :D
    take them out, clean ram pin and slot, put them again in seat.
