Hay i keep getting this Error, i think it is a bad sector on my hard drive, but also heard it could be my graphics card. I am also real sick i might visit this forum rarely for a while. So i might not be able to respond as quickly as internet manners direct. Any help will be welcomed.

on a quick search, came up with this:

can you recall when you first started getting this error? maybe after any new hardware changes or updates to drivers? Is it seem to occur when u are doing one particular thing? or just random?

Since your getting both the emergency shutdown screen and a double printed screen I would suspect that you have changed something to do with the graphics. If you added a TV card or PVR, or recently updated your graphics driver this could be the problem. The wrong driver, or adding a card to a system with onboard video without disabling it, could cause this. Whats been done to the video recently? If nothing then go inside and make sure the graphics card is completely seated in its slot.

It is not a shaky camera, it is what the screen looks like. i dont have a recovery disk i just ordered it soon as i get it i am going to do a recovery. It also seems like the more i take off my hard drive the less it crashes.

I have been up dating but not the drives or the graphics card drives by themselvs. I have mess with the Nvidia card cause i hooked my tv up to it. I am thinking more in lines of a virus that ****ed with my hard drive i am going to download a program that check out my hard drive.

I would like to also see if there is a virus on my computer i been using a free version of AVG but i cant scan cause it crashes. Oh yeah also did a CHSDK/r it worked better but still crashes. And gets pretty hot.

I was talking to someone ono MSN messenger and they sad i tried to share a files with them when i didnt.

Also i am going to take the back plates off and hard drive off and use compressed air to blow to see if there is any thing down there.

by the way it is a HP Pavilion 6000 amd processor brought in 2006 with XP orperating System
