Unreal Tournament 2003

Do any of you play? Great game, some really cool matrix mods too.

 

I own the game but have not played in awhile because I got tired of all the crappy maps. BR are too big and most DM are too small. I suppose they probably have some good custom maps out now so I may start playing again.

 

They rock, look for the "Wicked Sick" Server, you will be amazed. I will be on most of this weekend, you could also ad me to your buddies list and find the server. You may have to download some patches too. I am The1God or the one who will kill you every 3 seconds!!!! Muhahahaha Fell free to PM me with and Questions.

hmm, did the whole demo thing and it was fun to a point, but a little dissapointing still!

 

I like this game, though i get a bit of motion sickness from playing it :O(

 

Liked the game at first, but got better once I figured out how to have a REALLY freaky deathmatch in the stars

 

for those of you who care, start a regular game and before you spawn, press tab then enter open endgame and wait.

 

To me the game is all about the extra maps you can download. I have somewhere around 55 more maps than it came with along with the official releases and updates.

 

The game stock is very plain. With all the mods out there for free, it is addicting... At least from my perspective.

 

Our clan plays UT and UT2003 a lot. The maps are cool, the mods are ok.

Basically its a great team game. Even more fun if playing with peeps you know.

Another great game is BF1942 w/ the Desert COmbat (www.desertcombat.com) mod (free).

Quake and UT2003 are completely different games.

Regardless of what the haters say...

I've been in the UT game since Unreal came out....UT2k3 is nothing like Quake (That is a shitty ass game if you ask me)


But, thats just MAH opinion....

 

I played Quake 3 and loved it. But compared to UT it is far beyond that. Still a great game!!!

 

Where can i get some of the mods. I would look for them but im at work and dont want to use up too much of their bandwidth.

 

If you go online and just look under CTF for example, you will see some of them listed with EXcessive. (Good Mod) It will automaticlly update your system with the mod.

 

UT2004 is coming out soon! blimey.. whats that to compete with then? hmm, let me think.

I love UT (original) its a fantastic game, more *fun* than most games i thought, more of a multiplayer sport than your average fps.

And nothing beats the sound in the local net caf : HEADSHOT,HEADSHOT,HEADSHOT,HEADSHOT,HEADSHOT, m-m-m-M-M-MOONSTER KILL (kill kill kill)

You didn't hear? The reason they called it "Unreal Tournament 2003" instead of "Unreal Tournament 2" is to justify their new release schedule. They're releasing one game each year... just like all those console sports games EA makes.
