Unsure About Windows 10

    Hey mark, I personally haven't upgraded to Win 10. The video isn't a bad source on information. If I were you I would weigh the pros and cons of upgrading at this time. Review the programs you need to see if they will run on Win 10 and also be sure to look over all the programs that you may need to see if they will run at this time such as Media Center. Also, of all the users I know that have upgraded, seem to have no problems at this point in time. I'm not sure when the next build update is. I know this isn't a direct answer but it is something to look into. Also, sooner or later, we'll all have no choice but to upgrade.

    Along with Nick's info also check your hardware mfg's website to make sure it's compatible and if not snoop the web to see if anybody's using 8 or 8.1 drivers for any added hardware like keyboards, video cards network cards or such. Maybe make a driver cd for your stuff in case internet doesn't connect after upgrade.
