Unsure of Windows update's

Hey all. The freek is back 4 another round. :-D
After all the help I recieved & after the installation of the HAL.dll I was prompted to re-boot & guess what... I ended up in a poxy BOOT-LOOP.
HAL wanted kernal driver's.
0x00000000 0x00000000 SYS has been shut down. rolleyes
What a kick in the nut's. Lol
I've only just got the rig how I like it... sort of.
I'm missing Windows LIVE, I can't DL the suite. :confused
Now I'm having to use the UGLY standard looking MSN.
I've enough mem & theres no leftover's (I'm pretty sure).
I get over 1 prob just to confronted by a whole plethera of new ones.
