unwanted file

when i access program My Pictures, there is a folder that once contained photographs of my pets. The photos were printed and photos deleted. However, I'm unable to delete or move this empty folder. When ever I attemmpt to delete, receive message: unable to read source file or disc.
Please help!!!

 

Is this a file, program, folder? Before telling you how to try and remove / delete it, or anything, would like to make sure what it is exactly.

Steve, Pasquenel here. answer to your question, this is a file under My pictures. When attempt to delete the exact message reads: cannot delete file, cannot read from source file or disc.

 

OK, if it is just a folder locate it in Windows Explorer and click on it to make sure it is empty, if there are any types of files there, leave it alone. If there is nothing in it, right click the folder and choose delete. If that doesn't work use the same procedure in safe mode.
