unwindow guard

how do i uninstall windowsguard? there no uninstalling windows guard, it not listed in add and remove and i dont no where it located in .. i cant just simply right click and put delete because it wont remove all the components right?

some programs and its rare these days, dont have an uninstaller in Add/Remove but either in the Start menu with the other shortcuts to same program or you will need to open its folder up in Program Files and look for an icon generally called Uninstall, Unins000 ( and looks like the recycle bin ) and click that to uninstall... but only after as D3m3nt3d said once you have exited the app from system tray.

Unwise.exe is also an uninstaller used by a lot of programs. Look also for that in the files in the particular program folder that you are trying to install.
As a last resort, ( some programs do not have provision for uninstalls, and do not appear in Add/Remove in Control Panel), just delete the Folder (and its contents), but then you should run a Registry Cleaner to get rid of leftovers. Bazza

If its not in Add Remove and you have as D3m3nt3t has said closed it in the task bar by right clicking the icon and choosing exit/close

then next best option is to open C: Program Files > the folder location of the app then look for Uninstall, Unins000, Unwise icons as they are the uninstaller for that app.
