Unzip Rar Asks For Password Wetransfer Download Never Gets There

Hi, Win7 64bit pro.
I normally use wetransfer for sending, this time I received a few files from a friend, came as zip though he uploaded just files, wetransfer zip loose files, d/click it and got asked for password and keyfile.
asked him pre zip it, he did and still get asked for PW and KF. send another different subject, same problem.
At PC shutdown 5hrs later it said you will lose two downloading files ! , they never truly downloaded,

another friend sent a .rar via wetransfer, it necer downloaded, he emailed it, it asked for password and keyfile.

another friend sent .zip and it downloaded in seconds, also it opened.

what is going on, what can I do ?

This after installing new ssd 500gb after having 250Gb SSd. memory stick failure had squiffed up the 250gb drive a bit, chkdsk fixed it. New SSD also asked for chkdsk on a prog that has always been fine.
ran it and the prog then didnt error. One shouldnt have to chkdsk repair a new SSD though.

The uploader has a password set in the app?

 

No, they knew of my problem and made sure their test email and also WT route one (same one) didnt have a PW, also original problem the sender again just zipped the files, doesnt know how to PW them.
