    Installation date: ‎8/‎22/‎2012 9:48 AM

    Hello
    Is anyone having trouble installing the following update? Thank you

    Installation status: Failed

    Error details: Code 80070666

    Update type: Optional

    Install this update to revise the definition files that are used to detect viruses, spyware, and other potentially unwanted software. Once you have installed this item, it cannot be removed.

    I saw three posts at 3 forums and I suspect all are your posts.
    I did not see any other MS Security Essentials update fail today.

    I updated one computer around 12:30pm (XP) with no problem.
    I'll fire up my win 7 and see what is on there.
    It was updated at 1:41pm to 1.133.145.0 (Home Premium 64 bit)

    I reinstalled MSE and the update was succesful -bad day.
